NEWS FROM ROB: May is here!!! Are you ready for an action packed month as we race to the end of the school year? Make sure to attend Camporall (May 14th-16th) and Scout-o-Rama on May 15th it will be an event that you will never forget! I want to thank everyone in the Thunderbird District that is helping make this a huge success in our District! We will have the largest group camping out for the Camporall with just about 450 people!!!

As May ends and schools wrap up there are plenty of more opportunities to have fun as a Scout/Scouter over the summer. First up is Memorial Day and many of you have responded that you are planning to march in one of the parades occurring. Encourage everyone in your unit to participate! It would be an awesome sight to see 1000+ scouts and scouters marching on Memorial Day. Do you like baseball? Well keep your eyes out for information coming soon about carrying the flags at a DuPage Dragons home game at Benedictine University and also a special ½ price Scout Night in June if you attend in uniform.

Don’t forget about camp either! Trailblazer Day Camp at Von Oven still has openings for Cub Scouts as does Camp Freeland Leslie for your Boy Scouts. Make sure to get your reservations in ASAP!
